You come from a Printing Press background, how different is it working in garments industry?
I worked in the Printing Press for 13 years. I started working in the press when I was only in Grade 6. I worked after school hours at the press to support my family.
Cut to the chase, coming to the point of difference in print and garments industry. I think working at Export Leftovers has allowed me to use my creativity where as in Print Industry I used to copy paste print impressions. Another reason for me to move to Garments Industry are the better opportunities in the field.
